We were initially introduced in the middle of Lake Sammamish in early fall of 2017 when mutual friends brought their boats together to float. Neither of us can remember the events that unfolded from there...but someway or another we ended up at a bar in Fremont (RIP Ballroom) with that same group of friends. That night, I asked Bryan out on a date for the first time. As the infamous story goes, we went on two dates in 2017; one great and one terrible. We decided not to keep seeing each other after a movie date gone wrong (the movie of choice was IT and I despise scary movies). Over the next three years, we would see one another out and about in Seattle and always exchanged pleasantries. Then, one conversation at the end of 2019, got Bryan stuck in my mind. He'd always been the kindest, most genuine guy I'd ever met. I figured I'd take a shot in the dark and text him out of the blue... we found ourselves on our (second) first date in February of 2020 and the rest is history!
Bryan proposed on a weekend away at Captain Whidbey Inn with his parents and Allie's mom. It was an incredibly special weekend!
We were married in Suncadia, WA in an intimate ceremony surrounded by our closest family members. Bryan's sister, Ashly, officiated the ceremony and our soon-to-be brother in law, Grady, made the most incredible (and delicious) wedding cake! It was the most joyful weekend; full of love, celebration and lots of champagne and laughter!
