We're Getting Married

John and I were heading to Minneapolis, MN to go and see one of our favorite artists, Eric Church perform. We get to the concert and John really wanted to hear the song "She Loves Me Like Jesus Does," which is when he planned to propose. Well the concert went on and that song was never played! John decided it was time for plan B. He asked a gentleman from 2 rows up to take a couple of pictures for us. As I go to put my around John and face the camera John pulls the ring out of his shirt pocket! I could tell he was nervous, he was shaking like a leaf. "Lindsey Irene Jones, oh crap!" (he noticed he was still standing at this point) "Lindsey Irene Jones you are my best friend and I am so in love with you. Will you marry me?" I of course was in tears but squeaked out a "YES!" Cheers arose from all around us and John stood there just holding me. It was no where near the proposal I was expecting, it was BETTER because it was us. I am so excited to marry my best friend and to share our special day with all of you.
