What are your COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

All guests will need to be up to date on their Covid vaccinations at the time of the wedding to attend. The CDC currently (as of 7/29/22) defines up to date as having "received all doses in the primary series and all boosters recommended for you, when eligible." To check if you are up to date on your vaccine schedule, please visit: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html If that is something you are unable to do, we will have to ask that you not attend for the safety of the other guests. All our vendors are fully vaccinated, and service staff will remain masked for the duration of the event. At this time, masks will be optional for all guests. The wedding ceremony and reception will both be outside, with the cocktail hour taking place inside Hotel Covington while the service staff sets tables in the courtyard for the reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating begins at 4:30 and the ceremony itself begins at 5pm, so we'd recommend getting there closer to 4:30 so you're not walking down the aisle with Kate.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

When you get married in your 30s, most of your friends have kids, if not multiple kids. Although we love them, we chose to not invite children in an effort to be able to have more of YOU at our wedding. We hope you enjoy an adult night out!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invitation said "plus one," unfortunately no. We are working with a limited number of seats within a small space, and are so excited to see you. We promise you'll be seated with great people.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES. The venue is great about working to meet everyone's needs. Just let us know on your RSVP and we will make arrangements with the staff.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We are having our wedding and reception at Hotel Covington, and you can book a room within our room block so you can just take the elevator up at the end of the night. To book, call 859-905-6600.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yep, there's a garage right next door.

Is the venue accessible to folks with movement concerns?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception all take place on the first floor of the building (where restrooms are also located). If you are staying at the hotel, you can take the elevator up to your room at the end of the night. (To book call 859-905-6600.)
