We’re getting married!

We met the modern way — a swipe on Bumble — and the connection was instant. After weeks of constant FaceTimes, Connor made the 10-hour drive to Springfield for our very first date - Nov 27, 2020. That weekend led to a whirlwind of nerves, excitement, and a spark that couldn't be questioned.

We decided to make things official New Year's Day 2021, and it didn’t take long (approx. 2 WEEKS LOL) before we got tired of coordinating lives around cheap flights. Our next visit together was an unforgettable weekend in St. Louis, where Connor threw out an idea: move to Colorado. It felt just as crazy as it did right. By March 1, 2021, we had packed up one life, moved it into another, and started a brand-new chapter.

Over the past 4.5 years, we've grown side by side, explored new careers, worked on degrees, and moved into our first house. Over time, we often realize we are living out the dreams and goals we talked about over those long FaceTime calls in the beginning. We love having Connor's family close by and soaking in the always too-brief visits with Arianna's. Our beloved Bernedoodle, Sora Robinson, has been along for the ride since the very beginning, patiently waiting for her last name to change as well...

As the sun was setting and our fourth year together was coming to a close, he finally proposed on NYE in Panama City Beach, Florida. While the ring arrived not a day past the deadline Arianna set, Connor planned the most meaningful kind of surprise: unexpected visits from friends. It was the perfect trip and perfect reminder that sharing life’s best moments with friends and family means everything to us.

We both have ties to the area - Arianna was born in Springfield, and Connor's family spent summers boating Bull Shoals. We can't wait to make even more memories with our family and friends in the lush green of the Ozarks.
