Like a lot of people in this day and age, Nick and I met on a dating app! Our first official date was at a Starbucks, and when the Starbucks started closing for the night, we moved across the street to Denny's. For about the first two years of our relationship, Nick lived in Borger, TX and would drive an hour to Amarillo, just to see me almost everyday. At the end of 2021, Nick was finally able to move to Amarillo, and now works as a mechanic at Rick Husband International Airport. In June of 2023, we went on a trip to Colorado Springs, CO. There, we drove 14,000 ft to the top of Pike's Peak, where Nick proposed, and I said yes! I couldn't have imagined a better, more phenomenal proposal! On October 20th of 2024, we will have been together for 5 years! I can't believe how time has flown by. We have been through a lot together; a worldwide pandemic, a tragic loss, and just the everyday hardships that life throws at us. But we're still here, supporting each other, and loving each other through it all!
