Cory and I are young so of course we met on a dating app. Everything fell into place quite quickly with us. We talked all day and all night. We decided to meet up a week or two later to see if we had the same connection in person as we did online and sure enough, we did. After that we were inseperable. I would drive up every weekend to see Cory and either spend the day or spend the night.

Cory and I work very hard at our jobs. We work long and hard hours and sometimes you need a break so Cory and I decided to take a trip to Nashville. He had never been and it would be nice for me to go back. We booked our airbnb and started saving up. When we got to Nashville, we did what any Nashville toursit does, visit the murals. We spent the day visiting murals, eating at restaurants we’ve never ate at and burning up in the intense Tennessee heat. After our long and productive day, we decided to go to Chili’s. I know we have one at home but its my favorite place and I was craving some honey chipotle chicken and waffles. We sat down to eat and talked about our day together and what to do for the next couple of days that we were there. Due to the fact that I had been going through my sweet teas like nobodys business, I had to use the bathroom. When I came out, Cory had used my french fries to write out “Marry Me” and me, being the idiot i am, couldn’t read it because I was looking for “Will you marry me?” But regardless of my struggle to read it, I said yes to marrying my best friend.
