2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
We kindly request formal attire. For women, longer dresses are preferred - refrain from white ( avoid light pink as my brides maids will be wearing that color) For men, darker colors are preferred and long sleeve collared shirts, no jeans or shorts or sneakers. Confidence is Key, wear what makes you feel comfortable to be able to celebrate fully.
> We do ask to try and be on time, to avoid any setbacks, or awkward walk-ins. > This is a Holy and sacred moment for us, We ask to keep phones silent and flash off, avoid unnecessary chatter, so everyone can join us in focusing on the Beauty of the Mass. > Our Wedding will be a Catholic ceremony. Non-Catholics are invited to come forward for a blessing during communion or remain seated - both are perfectly respectable. > It is important that if you are not Catholic in the state of grace, to refrain from taking a part in the Eucharist. > Catholics during Mass, believe the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Not symbolism. Just like other faiths have their own sacred practices that are reserved for members, the Catholic Church safeguards the Eucharist in the same way.
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We kindly ask everyone to keep words and conversations prayerful and respectful. Avoid using the Lord's name in vain, and try to keep the language kind and clean, out of our love for Jesus this would mean the world to us. I'll admit I struggle with keeping my words gentle and clean, but let's do our best to keep the celebration uplifting and respectful.
