One humid afternoon in the dead of summer on a church game day, an intense game of 9 square was going down. A tall, southern man was winning against anyone who dared take him down. Mid-game, after following this mysterious man around all afternoon, the competitive blonde girl, standing 5 foot 2 inches tall was determined to show him who's boss... she was unsuccessful. Although she lost 9 square, she won the heart of a God-fearing, patient, and kind man. This was the beginning of our sweet story.
