We're getting hitched!

We went out to eat to Olive Garden and then we took a drive to one of Parker's favorite spots to look out over the Ohio River and at the city. We were talking about different things, like what we were like in high school, and what sports we played over the years. We said a phrase at the same exact time, in the same exact order out of nowhere while reminiscing our high school days and we just knew. He asked me to officially be his girlfriend after that.

It was a regular Sunday and Parker had asked me that morning if I wanted to go the zoo. I said sure and started getting ready. He had asked his mom, Jennifer, if she wanted to go with us and so she joined. I didn't think anything of it at all and just thought that it would be nice for the three of us to hangout for while. We get to the zoo and it's extremely busy at like 1 in the afternoon on a Sunday in February, needless to say it was a very pretty and decently warm February day. We walk through all the exhibits and are near the lions exhibit when we notice that the giraffes are out eating. So we're standing next to the fence on the side that close to the lions exhibit and we take a regular picture while there's no one around. After the first picture, Parker tells Jennifer that he wants to make sure that the giraffes are in the background of the picture and I just kind of brush it off. That is, until he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him right then. I was so surprised! He got me good, I had absolutely no idea that he was going to propose! It was a very happy day for all of us. (Picture is included at the bottom!)
