We’re Tying The Knot!

We met in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the Nautical's pool or the Naked Turtle's Bar- I think is the actual name -at someone's 21st birthday party. I'm pretty sure neither one of us knew the who the birthday was for but had friends that invited us along. It was Christian's pairing of moccasins and board shorts that caught my attention first, and my freckles that were out in full force caught Christian's eye. Our mutual love for German Shepherds is what got us talking though, and on our first date Tyson, our German Shepherd, accompanied us.

What seemed to be a normal family vacation to Maui, HI turned out to be the most amazing trip I've had so far very quickly. We hadn't even been there for more than 12 hours before Christian had me getting dressed up for dinner with the close to 25 people that came with us. Sunset was upon on us so he had me headed to the beach to meet up with our entourage of friends and family to walk to the restaurant. Well, imagine my surprise when we get down there and no one but Christian and I are ready for a fancy dinner. Everyone else is still in their bathing suits or travel clothes. After saying hi to everyone there, Christian guided me closer to the ocean just as the sun was setting. As the sky lit up in gorgeous colors and the ocean waves gently met my feet, he changed my life forever with one question. Will you marry me?
