For our first date, we met for dinner at El Cortijo in Burlington, VT. We first connected over our mutual love of stouts and porters and the insane amount of overtime we both work. Given that it was "busy season" in the accounting world, Tyler still jokes that Shannon nearly canceled the first date. Thank goodness she didn't! We go back to El Cortijo every year to celebrate.

Tyler planned the proposal in secret for months! With the help of family and some very good friends, Tyler proposed as the sun set over Horseshoe Bend outside Page, AZ. The moment was beautifully captured by our friends, Brittany and Neal, who had just celebrated their own wedding! (And, yes, the ring got the stamp of approval from Shannon's best friend, Kit.)

The start of a new beginning... We can't wait to celebrate our wedding with everyone!
