Some love stories are written by chance but Stanley and Sarah’s was written through prayer. In 2022, both Stanley and Sarah were individually seeking God, each praying for a life partner someone who would share their faith, their values, and their purpose. Neither of them knew that, at the very same time, God was already preparing their hearts for each other. That same year, Sarah visited Delaware Gospel Assembly Church for the first time. What seemed like an ordinary visit quickly became something divine. Across the room, their eyes met and in that moment, there was an unspoken connection. Their first handshake followed, simple yet powerful, as if God was gently revealing that this was part of His plan all along. The very next day, Sarah returned to St. Thomas. It could have ended there but when God is writing the story, distance is never the end. Stanley reached out to her, simply asking if she had made it home safely. What started as a small, thoughtful message became the beginning of something much greater. Through calls, messages, and countless conversations, they grew not only closer to each other, but also stronger in their faith. Their friendship deepened as they discovered shared values, dreams, and a love rooted in Christ. Over time, what God had started in prayer began to unfold into a beautiful love story. Looking back, they can clearly see that this was no coincidence it was divine alignment. Two prayers, lifted up separately, answered together in God’s perfect timing. Now, Stanley and Sarah step into this next chapter hand in hand, grateful for a love built on faith, guided by purpose, and centered in God. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” – Romans 8:28
