It Takes Two

They say reality is stranger than fiction and in our case, it truly is. Back in 2005, Stan and Sara were cast opposite each other as the Baker and Baker's Wife in their 5th grade production of Into the Woods Jr. While their relationship during this time was nothing short of antagonistic, they managed to put on a great show and went their separate ways. Fast forward to 2009, Sara and Stan both became members of the WRRD chapter of the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute and were reunited through their mutual friend, Sean O'Neil. They quickly realized that they had more in common than they initially realized and became friends. Through their involvement in TI and the Morris Knolls Chorale, Stan and Sara's friendship flourished and by the time they finished their first semester of college, they were sitting on a near 200 day Snapchat streak (it's over 2k days now). In the summer of 2013, after hanging out with some friends from high school, Stan drove Sara home from hanging out with friends and asked her a question... "Are you sending me anonymous messages on tumblr saying how cute I am?" We will never know who sent Stan those anonymous messages, but unable to lie about her budding feelings, Sara admitted to having a crush on Stan despite not being the one who sent the messages. After a long conversation and lots of persuasion on Sara's part, the two agreed to give dating a try. Ten years, one pandemic, and a cat named Alfie later, Sara and Stan are ready turn the page on a new chapter in their love story.
