What's the best way to get around in Seattle?

Answer

Seattle is full of *FUN* surprises when it comes to driving around, so I highly recommend using the light rail and ubers/lyfts. The light rail has only one North-South route, making it easy to navigate. From the airport, follow signs to the Link Light Rail and hop on a North bound train to the University of Washington. Most of you will want to get off at the "Capitol Hill" station and take an uber/lyft from there to your accommodations. Once you're in Capitol Hill, lyfts/ubers are plentiful:)

Where should I stay in Seattle?

Due to venue location and hotel limitations, we did not book a block of rooms. We recommend booking one of the plentiful air bnbs and vrbo's in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Mid October in Seattle is hit or miss, but according to a google search, Seattle averages a daily maximum temperature between 59 and 62 degrees F. The minimum temperature usually falls between 45 and 48 °F. Could be a sunny, cloudless day, could be classic Seattle rain, so come prepared!
