On a brisk April afternoon in 2022, amidst the chatter of a speed dating event in a North York park, fate brought us together. What was meant to be a fleeting exchange turned into something magical—we found so much in common that we talked through the entire event and beyond. Without hesitation, we continued our conversation over a warm bowl of ramen, where laughter and stories flowed as freely as the Canadian wind. That day, what began as chance became the first chapter of something extraordinary—a love story neither of us expected but instantly knew was meant to be.

One of Alice's favorite memories was from our first big trip to Las Vegas. We planned every hour of our week-long adventure—leaving no time unaccounted for. But, of course, spontaneity found its way in. One day, we got completely lost in the Omega Mart, solving hidden quests and collecting pins, only to realize we were running late for our dinner reservation and a show. With no time to spare, we sprinted through the casino maze, navigating flashing lights and crowded walkways, all while eating a sandwich on the go. It was chaotic, ridiculous, and absolutely perfect—just like us.

One of Stanley’s favorite memory of us is when he first introduced Alice to his parents. She instantly clicked with them, bringing a warmth and joy to their home that Stanley hadn’t seen in a long time. In that moment, everything felt perfectly in sync, and the four of them shared a harmonious sense of family.

One of our dreams as a couple was to take a trip around the world and visit our extended family in China. Since we were already halfway across the globe, we decided to seize the moment and visit a place we had both longed to experience together—Japan. Recognizing that the visit to our extended family was such a significant milestone, Stanley decided it would be the perfect time to pop the question. We left as boyfriend and girlfriend, but would return as an engaged couple. Stanley chose Mt. Fuji as the ideal spot to propose and planned a romantic getaway to the charming town of Fujikawaguchiko. After an unforgettable journey through China and an exciting week in Tokyo, we set off to explore the peaceful town. It was during a stroll through Oishi Park that the next chapter of our lives began.
