On April 26th, 2019, Matt was invited to a party at Alexa's house by a mutual friend Chris Zinser. They both had some drinks and shared some laughs throughout the night. A few weeks passed by and they saw each other at a local college bar in which Matt decided to pull Alexas hair as she was walking by. They then talked all night and by the end of the night they exchanged snapchats. After that night it was continuous conversations and hanging out until Matt asked Alexa to be his girlfriend on June 17th, 2019. They then dated for 6 more years, falling more in love every single day, until Matt decided to propose on December 6th, 2025.
