Everyone will be staying together at the cottage—we’re going for a fun party-house vibe! There’s a good chance you’ll be sharing a room with someone else, so think of it as a throwback to student days.
We strongly encourage you to check the travel requirements for visiting Canada in September 2025. This may include a travel visa, submitting biometrics, electronic travel authorization (eTA), and booking flights. Important: Visa applications can take time, so please start the process early! We're happy to help with supporting documents for your application! You can find more information on the visa application process here: 🔗 https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/apply-visitor-visa.html Flights and accommodations can get more expensive closer to the date, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.
We won’t be able to host guests outside of the official wedding stay at the cottage. If you'd like to explore Toronto before or after the wedding, we kindly ask to plan your accommodation in advance 🙏🏻 That said, if you’d like to share an Airbnb with other guests arriving around the same time, let us know—we’ll connect you :)
Please reach out to us first — Dalya will be conducting a very thorough screening process! 🐶
Once the RSVP list is finalized, we’ll connect guests with cars to carpool from Toronto. If there’s a need to rent cars, we’ll reach out to those with driver’s licenses to help plan this. Kindly let us know if you’ll be travelling to the cottage from another location - this will help us coordinate 💖
Due to limited capacity at our celebration, we’re unable to accommodate plus ones. We appreciate your understanding!
We love your little ones, but given the nature of our wedding — a multi-day celebration at a cottage with a party-house vibe — it's not exactly kids-friendly :( 1. Ceremony: To keep this moment truly about the two of us and minimize distractions, we ask that babies and kids not be present shortly before, during, or shortly after the ceremony. 2. Accommodations: Since everyone will be staying in a shared house with late-night parties, loud music, alcohol, and tobacco, we won't be able to provide comfortable environment for children. If you wish to bring your little one, we recommend finding nearby accommodations (Airbnb, hotels) for a more suitable stay. This was not an easy decision, but we must do what makes the most sense for our celebration. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our wishes. Please reach out — we’d love to help you figure out the best way to make it work!
We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, as it is reserved for the bride 🤍
Beige is fine for gentlemen, but we ask ladies to avoid wearing it.
Here’s a list to get you started: • Wedding day attire (see dress code) • Vyshyvanka (for the second day) • Bug repellent • Swimsuit • Comfy shoes and sports clothing • Warm clothing for evenings • Raincoat • SPF • Toiletries and medications
Help us with preparations 😂😭 But after that, the cottage has plenty to offer: • Private access to the lake with kayaks and paddles (5-minute walk) • Small sauna and hot tub • Bonfire • Big BBQ • Basketball hoop • Ping pong table and billiards • Small home theatre • Board games, etc. The surrounding nature also has a lot to offer—hopefully, the weather will cooperate! We’ll also be spending a lot of time together, enjoying drinks, food, dancing, and making memories ☺️
Your presence is the best gift! Second-best is cash :)
