Jae and I met on a dating app, where we talked and got to know one another. After talking for a while we went to Nacho Mama's on Broad Street downtown. There we talked and got to know each other better. After our date I was so overwhelmed and took a step back to make sure I wanted to date. Jae likes to say I ghosted him, but I say I wanted to be ready! Either way works. During this time Jae and I continued to talk occasionally as friends. Jae would check in on me and how I was doing. One day, after Jae had gotten back from a camping trip with his friend, Bryan, he texted me saying hello and sent me pictures of their site. We started talking that day and never stopped. His persistence is what made me want to know him more, so a few days later we were going on our second "first" date. Jae took me on a motorcycle ride around Augusta and we ended up at another Mexican restaurant to get tacos! We kept seeing each other practically every day after that. A few weeks later on November 7th Jae asked me to officially be his girlfriend. A year later on our anniversary Jae asked me to marry him. And now we are ready to celebrate with all our friends and family!
