On March 19th, 2018 we went on our first date back in Naperville, IL. Now on March 19th, 2023, we will be tying the knot in Phoenix, AZ. We were inseparable after our first date. Then, Matt was just settling into his first PA job in the ER, and Nicole was just starting her first nursing job, night shift. We both worked crazy schedules, but spent every second we weren't working - together. After barely knowing each other for a year, we decided to take a leap of faith and move across the country together, not yet knowing it would be the best decision of our lives. Within a month of living in Arizona we adopted a rambunctious cattle pup and started our perfect little family. Within a year we decided to take another leap and buy a house - to gut completely and spend the next year remodeling it. Word of advice - if you want to put your relationship to the maximum test.... remodel a house together. After finally completing that insane project after some blood, sweat (lots and lots of sweat), and tears (a lot of that too on Nicole's end lol), we decided to add some more excitement to our lives and adopt another pup, who truly completed our four legged family. Today, Matt is working as a primary care provider and Nicole is working her photography business full time. We are now currently in the process of building a second home; the one that our future babies will learn to walk in, and our pups will grow old in. We recently found out we will be closing March 15th, yes, just 4 days before our wedding! To say its going to be an insane month is an understatement, but we are so excited to take it all on. If our relationship so far has any indication to what our future holds - the next few decades will be filled with risks, adventure, lots of love, and lots of growth.
