We met when Ashley transferred to Cal Poly and moved in with Anna Miller, a mutual friend of ours. We knew each other for 2 years, but started spending more time together when Anna asked us both to be in her wedding as the Maid of Honor and a Bridesman.

How We Met

On New Year's Eve, we went on a hike to the top of Madonna to see the lighted Christmas tree. This is where we went on our first date and so I proposed at the top of the mountain. Afterwards, we went back to my house for a NYE party that was really an engagement party with many of our friends.
