Question

Will there be any COVID restrictions?

Answer

With COVID-19 cases spiking in Florida, we need to take certain precautions. Regardless, we are feeling hopeful that we will be able to have a safe and fun reception! We encourage all of our guests who are able to be fully vaccinated. Guests who will not be fully vaccinated are encouraged to obtain a negative COVID test before September 4. Currently, we are asking both our vaccinated and unvaccinated guests to bring a mask. We will continue to monitor changes from the CDC and update our reception mask policy accordingly as we near September 4th.

Question

Where can I park for the reception?

Answer

If you are not staying at a hotel near The Birchwood, we recommend the following parking garages: Plaza Tower Parking Garage (255 First Street Northeast, 1.5 blocks from The Birchwood): 24-hour parking, $8/day maximum, credit cards only -- SunDial Parking Garage (117 Second Street North, 2 blocks from The Birchwood): 24-hour parking, $8/day maximum, charging for electric vehicles available -- MAACM Parking Garage (350 Third Street North, 3 blocks from The Birchwood): 24-hour parking, $1/hour

Question

Can I take my own pictures?

Answer

Please refrain from any cell phone use as it will disrupt the Mass. Because we have hired a professional photographer, please avoid taking your own photos during the mass, formal portraits, and key parts of the reception (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) so that she can get the best photos possible! We promise we will share our photos once they are available to us :)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for both the Mass and reception is semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We ask that you only bring a plus-one if you have explicitly been given one on your invitation.

Question

If I'm giving a gift, should I bring it to the reception?

Answer

If you are bringing a monetary gift, there will be a spot for you to put the gift at the reception. If you are purchasing a gift off one of our registries, we encourage you to have it shipped directly to us, but there will also be a spot at the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you are RSVPing by mail, please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card. If you are RSVPing online, there is a place for you to enter any dietary restrictions.
