If you are parking your car at the ferry parking lot, the Palmer Avenue Lot is closest to Woods Hole (9 Min): Palmer Avenue Lot 286 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth, MA 02540 https://www.steamshipauthority.com/traveling_today/parking There is a free shuttle at this lot that runs every hour that takes you right to the ferry. You can book your round trip ferry tickets ahead of time here: https://app.steamshipauthority.com/ You want to select ‘Woods Hole’ to ‘Martha’s Vineyard’ When you get dropped off at the Woods Hole Station, you walk up to the ferry and show them your ticket. You can walk on to ferry via the bottom of the ship where the cars park or via the passenger stairs outside.

Travel Note
If you are not flying directly into Martha's Vineyard, you can access the island by ferry. Travel between Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard: If you are traveling to Martha’s Vineyard, the trip takes only 45 minutes from Woods Hole. Advance vehicle reservations are required and can be booked online, by calling (508) 477-8600, or in person at the Woods Hole and Martha’s Vineyard ticket offices located in the Vineyard Haven terminal year-round and seasonally at the Oak Bluffs terminal. Passengers traveling to Martha’s Vineyard without a vehicle may purchase tickets at the terminals on the day of sailing.
Travel Note
The Steamship Authority’s website has detailed information about parking your car if you are not bringing it over, to when and how to make a reservation to bring your car. When headed to Martha’s Vineyard, parking is not available dockside at the Woods Hole terminal. You will need to park in one of their off-site parking lots located in Falmouth or Cataumet. Plan to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before your departure trip to allow time to access our off-site parking and free shuttle service to and from our Woods Hole terminal. Travel Note
Upon your arrival, you’ll find public transportation on-island is readily available just steps from the ferry docks. One day, three day and seven day VTA passes may be purchased on the bus or at the Steamship Authority Terminals.

This hotel is situated near Edgartown Harbor and is a four minute walk to the reception location (Daniel Fisher House). Close to the shops, galleries, and restaurants of Main and Water streets. A back courtyard features both sunny and shady spots to lounge (or sit by the firepit in the evening) and BYOB. Some rooms feature private balconies, as well.

Harbor View is located just across the street from the Edgartown Lighthouse where the ceremony will be taking place. It is a beautiful hotel with great amenities, although it is definitely on the pricier side.

The Island Inn is a 51-suite resort with townhouses and condos near the shores of Oak Bluffs, and offers more affordable accommodations. It is about a 9 minute drive to Edgartown where the wedding events will take place, and is located halfway between the ferry and Edgartown. This place is great and we've stayed here in the past.
