Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for everyone to come dressed in semi formal attire. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing all black suits or yellow attire, as those are reserved for the wedding party. Additionally, we ask our guests to avoid wearing hats during the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones and wish we could invite them all! Unfortunately, we’re limited by space and are only able to include children where specified on your invitation.

Can I bring a date?

We’d love to celebrate with all of your favorite people, but due to space we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by the Saturday August 22nd. If we do not hear from you by this day, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is free parking at Dulany's Overlook.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Where should we stay, and is overnight parking available?

Answer

We have a hotel block at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Frederick, located just a short drive from our venue. For guests who prefer not to drive after the celebration, optional overnight parking is available at the venue! Please note that any vehicles left overnight must be picked up by 8:30 AM the following morning.

Will transportation assistance be available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! A golf cart will be available for guests who may have difficulty walking or would like assistance getting around the venue

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If needed, both the ceremony and reception will still take place at the venue! The ceremony will be held inside the barn, and the space will be flipped during cocktail hour for the reception.
