Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire, and we encourage our guests to dress to impress! For men, we suggest wearing suits or tuxedos, while women are encouraged to opt for floor-length dresses or formal gowns. Please keep in mind that our ceremony will take place on grass, with a paved half-mile walk from the entrance, so please choose your footwear accordingly.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lilly House Terrace. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour will seamlessly transition outdoors through the gardens. Dinner and reception will take place indoors.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm, located approximately half a mile from the surface lot or parking garage. Golf cart transportation will be available for guests who require assistance. Upon arrival, please be aware that all guests will undergo a security check. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. Take advantage of the picturesque gardens as you make your way to the Lilly House Terrace and locate your seat.

What are the recommended transportation options to and from the venue?

Answer

Shuttles will be available to transport guests to and from Hotel Indy and Newfields on the wedding day. Please check the Travel & Accommodations page for updates on shuttle timing. If you're not staying at Hotel Indy, you can choose to use Uber, Lyft, or drive yourself. Newfields is approximately 10 minutes from the heart of downtown. For those who choose to drive, there is a free parking garage and surface lot available.
