Her Story: “The first time I met LaQuan, I think it was my first official day of my new job. I wasn’t really interested in talking to anyone that day, and I couldn’t understand why he kept talking to me— side note, I totally pre-judged him and thought he was a nerd that stayed in the office lol. Anyways, fast forward a few weeks and I had to work in the office for a week straight. LaQuan worked in the back but came up to the front to talk to me everyday. I remember the moment I realized I liked him. He walked through the office door laughing and I thought his smile was so beautiful. We were doing really well for awhile, but at some point my strong mind, and LaQuan’s stubbornness turned our relationship from playful flirting to full on disagreements.” His Story: “Staesha and I met at work, I believe it was her first day working with us. I thought she was cute so I went over to introduce myself and talk to her a bit about our department. I quickly learned (or so I thought) that she had no interest in me or what I was even saying to her. From that point on I really didn’t have much interest. We worked together a few times and I would pick at her. Staesha has a short fuse and doesn’t like to picked on. But it was all in good fun. One day, my picking at her turned bad on a three-day work trip. Our Story: After a tense work trip to Myrtle Beach, LaQuan decided to ask Staesha to lunch since they had to work with each other, and arguing every time they were together wasn’t going to work. They went to Panera Bread on a Monday, and spent everyday with each other after that. The rest is pretty much history. The work trip was in February and they started dating that April. Staesha is still really strong minded, and LaQuan is still just as stubborn, but they love each other so much, and couldn’t imagine marrying anyone else.
