Flight
Key West International Airport (EYW) is small and easy to navigate, but flights are limited—book early for the best options. Many guests also fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and drive ~3.5–4 hours through the Florida Keys (scenic and memorable 🌊). Rental cars can sell out—reserve ahead if you plan to drive. Parking is sparse and expensive and may be an extra daily expense.
Travel Note
Key West is very walkable, especially in Old Town. We usually walk everywhere and it is safe day or night! Bikes, scooters, and golf carts are popular and easy to rent. Ride-share services and taxis are readily available—parking can be limited, so driving is often unnecessary. Parking may not be available at your accommodation or will be a daily charge.
Travel Note
We have a Room Block at Winslow's Bungalows (where we are staying). The ROOM BLOCK CODE is now active: HKWB. *Tip: Change Promo Code to Group Code and then enter the Code: HKWB Other suggested places will be within walking distance to everything. Hotels fill up quickly, especially in spring. We recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. Staying in Old Town/Downtown allows easy walking to restaurants, beaches, and nightlife.
