Scotty and Stacy met on the softball field many years ago. Soon into their first discussion they realized their birthdays were the same day. (although the birth year is not the same) Scotty asked Stacy a few times for a first date. Stacy responded with you'll see me enough on the softball field. But, Scotty's persistence paid off. Stacy eventually asked him to dinner. After dinner they headed back to Scotty's house where their kids hung out. Scotty and Stacy stayed up all night talking and really getting to know each other. It was the best first date Stacy had ever had.

Scotty proposed to Stacy on Christmas. Stacy had several extra family members in town that year. While taking pictures in front of Stacy's mom's Christmas tree, Scotty dropped to one knee and proposed in front of all the family. All of our kids were there as well.
