March 2011 while working at a local high school, Mr. Moshay, came to her classroom and invited her for a cup of coffee with a group of teachers. later invited Lola and a group of other teachers to come to a local gathering at the Galleria, that same evening and Lola was introduced to Stacy. The following week, Lola was invited to another coffee event where she ran into Stacy again. As she entered the room to sign the guest registry, she had a pen in her hand that lit up. Stacy flirted on the cool and asked for her pen, she gave it to him because she is giver at heart. She flirted back calling him a bootleg preacher. In August 2011, Lola called Stacy because she was ready to join the coffee business. Fast Forward a year or so later, Lola’s daughter Joy, said to her, “Mama that man likes you.” In February 2012, Joy threw Lola a birthday lunch with a few friends, but Stacy was the only man present. While laughing and listening to music, Lola’s friends and Joy persuaded Stacy to dance with her for her birthday. While dancing, God told Lola that Stacy would be her husband. Lola didn’t act on those words from God she just held them in her heart. So over time Stacy and Lola became the best of friends. Stacy began to teach her business principles blended with principles Biblical principles In 2013, Joy had to move away to become one with her family, she moved over 3000 miles away to Washington State. When Joy moved, Lola became depressed. Stacy was still her friend and he cared for Lola. Stacy travelled a lot but he still sent business partners to check on her and he make sure she attended business meetings. As they continued in business, Lola had to move from Houston to Prairie View in 2014. Lola thought for sure that their friendship would be over but Stacy would still come visit and attend the church Lola pastored called Power House Worship Center. In 2016, their friendship progressed to courtship. In February of 2018, their courtship turned into deciding on forever.
