On a quiet Sunday in September, a swipe right on a well known dating app would change Stacy and Joshua’s lives forever. The two began their love story with a conversation about their favorite Brand New albums which turned into two weeks of non stop text conversations. Stacy was going to her favorite Chicago music festival while Joshua worked in the midst of cornfields in Kansas. It seemed the two would never meet up in person, so Stacy came up with the crazy idea of meeting at the Saint Louis airport when she would return. To her surprise, as she walked through the exit gates, the most handsome man she’d ever seen was holding up a paper sign that said “Nastya”. It may as well have said “Til Death Do Us Part” because from that moment on the two were inseparable. Joshua brought many great ideas into the relationship, like convincing Stacy to get a saltwater fish tank for her living room. His cat, Harvey, became a new roommate to Noomi and soon after so did Joshua. One day, Stacy saw a beauty of a cat named Teapot on a shelter website and Joshua jumped in his car to bring her home. The zoo grew and so did the love in their beautiful home. The two lovebirds ran around the globe, visiting many exciting new places and even making work trips enjoyable with each other’s company. This past November, Stacy and Joshua went on a trip to Paris (thanks to Stacy’s savvy for getting cheap flight deals). One night during the trip, Joshua and Stacy went on a romantic walk through the city talking about their hopes and dreams, and underneath the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, Joshua popped the question. Without hesitation, Stacy agreed, and the two went to enjoy an overpriced glass of champagne in celebration. A new chapter in their love story is about to begin.
