All wedding and related activites will take place at Baha Mar, so we recommend you staying at the Grand Hyatt where we have a discounted room block. However, there are two other hotels on Baha Mar property, the SLS and the Rosewood if you prefer. There are also surrounding hotels outside of Baha Mar if that suits you better.
Lynden Pindling International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Hotel is about 10-15 minutes from this airport
We listed the dress code as "Resort Casual”. To us this means something you would wear out to dinner on a vacation. We are estimating a temperature in low 70's as the sun sets at the ceremony and it might be breezy on the dock. We love each of you for the people you are, so wear what you feel comfortable wearing, allows you to be yourself and have some fun! We are just thrilled to have you celebrate with us.
No, the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is not all-inclusive. However, there are several restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and incidental stores to choose from without having to leave the property.
LOL! We wanted to get married on the water or a boat (which we LOVE), but finding the perfect place in the winter on a boat/water location in TN was proving to be too hard - so BAHAMAS - here we come. Plus sunshine in January, a happy time after the Holidays, and an excuse to travel sounded really exciting to us!
You are special to us and we totally understand having prior commitments, budgets, & life schedules. We are grateful for you and thank you for your well wishes.
We believe in the power of prayer and we would welcome your prayers for the Lord's blessings on our marriage. "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Mark 10:9 “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:15-17 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

At this time, there will only be the wedding and reception. We are working with the resort and as plans evolve we will post them here. We will also send out details directly to those coming. We hope you can make it, we understand if you cannot, and if coming - we want you to plan what is good for you.
