Mr and Mrs Big Will

Stacy and Andrey

If there is one word to describe us, it would be strong. We are a blended family with 8 total children and 1 grandchild. Stacy is a big hearted woman with a lot of love to give. She is the type of person that loves to help people, literally putting everyone before herself. Andrey is a gentle giant. Although his demeanor does not show it, he is a gentle giant. Together we are a wall that cannot be penetrated. We fight hard, but love even harder.

We met

Andrey and I met in Killeen, Texas about 17 years ago, in an unusual place. We met in the VFW Post 9191 and I have to say I was not impressed at that point. See I was there with my sister Tracy and my girl Annette just trying to have a girls night out, I’m not much of a dancer and I really hate crowds so I just wanted to sit down and enjoy the music . Well I sat at the table Andrey had been sitting at prior to so he came over and stated that I was sitting in his seat (eye roll and immediate attitude showed up), and in true fashion I let him know that there were other seats but instead he sat down and kind of started a conversation with me which I quickly stated that my sister over there (pointing to Tracy) likes younger men. Eventually I softened up and found Andrey extremely charming and the rest is history. That was 2003 and here we are 2019 still loving one another.

Proposal

I deployed to Iraq in November of 2005. Crazy time for me, Stacy was pregnant with Carmen, and I did not want to leave. We made a deal that I would not come home for Carmens birth, but wait until the end of the school year for Nikki’s graduation.( Well Stacy told me what I was going to do and I did it, this would become a common thing in our relationship 😂😂). I picked out what I thought was the perfect ring, ( I’ll tell that story later). The day I got home, I dropped to one knee, nevous as hell and told Stacy she was the best thing that has ever happened to me and I NEEDED to spend the rest of my life with her. She said yes and the rest is history

Courthouse Marriage

December 2008 while home on leave, Stacy and I decided to finally get married. We had already established that we would spend our lives together. Our kids were all together truly making them OUR kids. We put it off on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In true Stacy and Andrey fashion, we decided on Thursday to get married on Friday. Our friends Jason and Jamie Gesford and Cherylnn Turner went with us to the courthouse. We had a quick and simple ceremony, exchanged vows, and was done before the kids got home from school. Afterwards we went to our favorite restaurant Red Lobster with our friends and went home with the promise of someday having an actual ceremony we both deserved, which brings us to now........
