Miles (Adam's son) and Nolan (Stacy's nephew) began playing youth soccer together at a very young age. A few soccer seasons went by where seeing each other on the sidelines with just a "hi" or "hello" was the norm. Advancing to Club soccer, Miles and Nolan played for separate clubs. Three years went by and in May 2022, Miles tried out for the same Club team as Nolan. It was then, on the soccer field of course, that we had our first "hi" again. The Slammers 2022-2023 season began. Months went by with games & tournaments, a friendly wave "hi'" or "hello" and even some "how are you doings?" Without either of us knowing, Lynsay, the mastermind behind the set up, along with the help of the "Soccer Moms", our journey was just beginning. Our soccer crew... they are the ones responsible for our union. According to them, it wasn't easy and it took A LOT of work...Haha! Whether it be games followed by post-game lunches or lunches followed by post-lunch gatherings at the Fox's or the Burkes'.... suddenly we found each other "magically" hanging out together outside of the field. A true friendship was developing; something we both looked forward to. Fast forward to March 18, 2023... we went on our first date and the rest is history! We may have not known it just then, but God did. He had a plan all along... all these years... and this first date was ultimately the beginning of the rest of our lives together. It didn't take long before either of us realized, "when you know, you know". Engaged on April 18, 2025! Surrounded by family, Adam dropped to one knee and proposed. It was a complete surprise that could not have been more perfect! We're getting married! On August 20, 2026 we will say "I Do", becoming one, joined together forever & always. We can't wait to celebrate our special day with all of you as we "kick off" our happily ever after! Get ready for an unforgettable day!
