How She Knew We had been dating for a few months and Mike had invited me over to cook me dinner. After a particularly difficult day at work, I headed over to his house. I plopped on the couch and started texting my friend, venting to her how absolutely awful my day was. I felt something cold on my leg and looked down to see a water bottle. I didn't remember it being there when I sat down, but I was so enamored in my venting session I might not have noticed. I asked Mike if it was his and he said no, he put it there for me. Now if you know me you know all I drink is water. I did not ask for water, but he knew this and brought me out a water. It was something so little but it meant so much. How He Knew For me, it wasn't one moment, but a series of them. I love how she appreciates the little things. Whether it's the way she gets excited when she sees a dog or has her first bite of a hamburger (from Elgin Public House). I love how she confesses to Gilliam, when she "cheats" on him with another dog and asks for his forgiveness. I love how she does her little dance when she's enjoying her food.
