We met on an app called Coffee Meets Bagel, one of the least atrocious dating apps out there. (Fun fact: Our wedding date is the ninth anniversary of our first date!) Immediately, I was amused by Kevin's calm, relaxed demeanor. (His first line? THE line? "Hey, Stace Face!" Nevertheless, she persisted.) I was apprehensive about meeting someone "from online," but Kevin instantly put me at ease. (Shout out to my dearest Luci for the natural chill pills from Whole Foods! We may not be here today without her valiant efforts!) When we met, I was immediately enamoured by his honesty, charm, and kindness. What was supposed to be a 45-minute coffee date evolved into a nearly four-hour conversation. It felt like we'd known one another forever. (Our waitress even assumed so!) I soon discovered that Kevin is the best of the best. His devotion to those he loves is inspiring, something we all should aim for. We could have never known the trials and tribulations we'd face over the next few years. I often joke that we've already taken the traditional wedding vows for a spin. But it's true. We've stood by one another through some of the hardest moments in our lives. Now, we *finally* get to honor and celebrate our unwavering commitment to one another. Nearly a decade later, Kevin still has the kindest eyes I've ever seen. And, the truth is, he's felt like home ever since that cool November night. I can't wait to marry this wonderful, loving man. See y'all there! - Staci
