5/5/25 is a significant date for two main reasons. On 5/5/1936, Durell's grandparents (Annie Belle and Willie Heckstall Sr.) got married in North Carolina and established a foundation of love. They were married for 28 years and had 3 beautiful children together. Their son, Mr. Willie Heckstall Jr. planned to "tie the knot" in April 1978 with the love of his life, Ms. Rise Shury but unfortunately, there was a delay due to the misplacement of documents required to apply for the marriage license. Due to the delay, Mr. Willie Heckstall Jr. and Ms. Rise Shury (Durell's parents) got married in NY on 5/5/1978 while initially unaware of the 5/5 Anniversary date of his parents/her in-laws. We would love for you to join us and to witness another generation of this beautiful tradition between the Heckstalls and their legacy of love. May 5th has been a date that stood with the Heckstalls for decades and we look forward to upholding this tradition of love, prosperity and unity.
