It all started back in 2016 when two young artists met at The Creative Circus and then went on a *casual* 17-mile hike in Tennessee...

Then over the course of the next 4-5 years, they began flirting online and via phone calls.

In 2018, Matt moved to Seattle, which was convenient for Stacie to spend some time with Matt while she was home visiting family.

Jumping right ahead. Matt independently moved to SF in 2021 where Stacie was now living.. and before you knew it, we're in 2022 and Stacie and Matt finally decided to try the whole dating thing.

And it went well!

Had plenty of date nights

Fell in love.

Saw Steely Dan.

Spent 40 days apart and realized we didn't ever want to be apart that long again!

Before we knew it, Matt asked a big question.

And Stacie said "omg omg omg!! YES!!"

And it was absolutely perfect.

This (Pt. Reyes) was the location of our first real date as a couple and the place where Matt had written Stacie a love letter the year before that had changed everything.
