Luke brought Staci out to Colorado during Spring Break 2018. He then told her she had to go on this hike because it was the only time she could hang out with his sister.... liessssss. That March 3rd beautiful morning Luke, Staci, Caitlin, and Will headed for Fort Collins, Colorado. The destination was beautiful, Horsetooth Falls. Staci was not excited when she found out they had to walk a mile to get to the official hike spot. The group then had to do a "hike" before the "actual hike" that was uphill (I might add)! Horsetooth has two water fall spots. The lower fall and the upper fall. Luke had his plan that he would get down on one knee at the lower fall (it was closer of course) but some guy had a loud buzzing drone right above us. We then had to take another hike adventure up further steps to reach the upper falls. Staci thought Luke and her were going to take a picture on a big rock and Caitlin was going to take the picture. Instead, Caitlin had the phone set and was recording a video. Luke got down on one knee and asked Staci to marry him. After a lot of emotions and tears, Staci said YES! That hike was totally worth it and a forever cherished moment for Luke & Staci.
