This is a non-shuttle lottery stop, there are several parking lots to park in as well as different difficulty levels of paved walking paths to get to the lake. Roughly an hour North from Banff on a beautiful scenic drive.
Near Peyto Lake, an easy walk with parking to the lake. There is also plenty of restrooms and a store on site.
This is the main road that goes from Banff to Jasper. Most of the beautiful viewpoints are on this road along with plenty of hikes for any level of fitness.
Beautiful Canyon Area about 30 minutes North from Banff
The Mt. Norquay Viewpoint offers exceptional views over the Town of Banff and Mount Rundle. Parks Canada has even placed a few of its iconic red Adirondack chairs there for visitors to sit and marvel at the view. You’ll need to drive up Mt. Norquay Road for about 4.8 km until you reach a pull-off point on your right-hand side, where you can get out and take a short stroll to admire the view.

We can suggest other hikes if you'd like or other ideas based on what you are looking to do just ask. Remember Banff has tons of wildlife so always be aware; listen to the Rangers. Even though its cool to get a Grizzly photo, it's not so cool when you can't share it. Be bear, moose, elk, and cougar aware.
