Way back in 2017 Staci slid into Colby’s DMs on Facebook. Little did she know that would lead to their first date at Bravo. Colby asked Staci to be his girlfriend on April fools day and she thought he was joking. They dated for a little while then ultimately parted ways. Over the next 7 years Staci and Colby both had to grow up, but they continued to date on and off. No matter what they always ended up back with each other. In March of 2023 Staci found out her lease was not renewing while Colby was at her house. She was stressed and kicked him out. When she finally told him why she made him leave he asked her to move in with him. She agreed and packed up her dog and cat. They both decided to tell their parents they were dating and moving in together. Obviously both sets of parents were surprised but knew neither one of them took decisions like this lightly. They continued to date and eventually shopped for rings. While on a beach vacation Staci’s boss anonymously sent him pictures of beach engagements. They were finally caught, but Colby didn’t say a word about it. On Sunday morning, July 9, Colby proposed while they were in their condo waiting out the rain and Staci was making bologna sandwiches.
