HOW WE MET

09.03.2017

Let's take a trip back in time to sophomore year; it was returning student move-in day at SNHU. After spending her first year living in one of the oldest buildings on campus, Stacia was eager to finally live in an area that seemed more adequate for living. Not only was Washington Hall much cleaner and had brand new furniture, but her new dorm mates were actually social! This is something she hadn't experienced her first year - not even from her RA. As her family helped her lug all necessary (and unnecessary) things up to the fourth floor to her room, Stacia had passed by her RA's room who's name was posted on the door: Kayke. "Cake?... Cake-y?" Interesting. Unpacking was nothing out of the ordinary. That is, until a man walked in the room with a hammer. "Hi, I'm your RA. I just have to bang the beds." (Yes. This happened.) Of course, we were all confused, and we weren't quite sure if he even knew what he said, but surely enough, the beds had to be banged up! Because the furniture was so new, the bed frames were stuck to their stands which made it difficult to lower or raise the beds. It was in this moment that Stacia realized that this was nothing like living in Ossipee Hall.
