Stacey and Mike met on a freezing cold night in 2014 while waiting on line to see the band Fall Out Boy perform at Brooklyn Bowl. While Stacey and Mike remained just friends for four more years, Mike finally mustered up the courage to make things official in February 2018.

After a mediocre dinner on the waterfront in Weehawken, Stacey and Mike walked past the first apartment where Stacey lived in during her time in Hoboken. This is the spot where Mike fell in love with her so he dropped down on one knee and the rest is history.
