The Cockrell Butterfly exhibit is a must-see, and the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals is included in the museum ticket price.

One of the oldest parks in the city. Has fun paddle boats and a mini train that connects the Museum of Natural Science and the Houston Zoo (and free parking!).

Huge green-space dedicated to native plants with walking, hiking & bike trails. Stop by Beck's Prime to grab a malt while looking out to the golf course.
Huge indoor mall with ice skating and tons of shops. We recommend parking in the orange garage.
Montrose is the place to go to find curated vintage shops with great prices. Stop by Agora for a quick coffee break or have lunch at Empire Cafe.
Nice antiques, the Museum of Toys, and Boomtown coffee are our frequent stops on historic 19th Street.
Tons of good food here and an amazing view of downtown Houston. Definitely get the Motherland at ChopnBlok or stop by Yoyo's Hotdogs. There's a music venue attached too!
