What is the venue like?

Answer

Coats is a beautifully renovated former church & an all encompassing venue. Our ceremony will take place in the former church area followed by the reception which will be held in the downstairs ballroom. It is worth adding, especially given the time of year, that some may feel it cold while in the church area.

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

There are steep stairs leading up to the church area. However, should you require, there is ground level access at the side of the building where a lift can be accessed.

Are children welcome?

Answer

There will be some children present at the wedding. We ask though that only those who have been pre-advised bring children. If you are unsure then please reach out to Stacey or Thomas who can clarify.

Photography & Social Media

Answer

Our event will be unplugged - we will have a photographer & videographer present to capture the day so would ask all guests to keep their phones away. In regards to social media we kindly request no photos be posted until after we post our first as Mr & Mrs.

Does the bar accept cash or just card?

Answer

Both cash & card can be used at the bar.
