Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 2:45 PM at the Kimpton Lorien Hotel. The ceremony will begin exactly at 3 PM.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have two hotel blocks using the code: Barclay/Bey; The Kimpton Lorien Hotel and the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Alexandria Old Town/Southwest. Select the travel tab for more information.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony is Semi-Formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Are kids welcome?

No children, please.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Valet Parking for the ceremony is available at the Kimpton Lorien Hotel for $17. The reception at Chart House is street parking. We highly suggest taking a car service from the Kimpton Lorien Hotel to Chart House.

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. Please drive yourself and use street parking OR take a car service to the reception.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited via wedding invitations.

Will you have a photographer?

Answer

There will be a photographer for each wedding event. We kindly request that guests not use their phones during the ceremony on September 7th. Our photographer/videographer will capture the event and we will share those pictures/videos with you! Please be 100% engaged in the moment during our special time!
