Flight
If you will be flying into Northern California, major airports like San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) will have the best rates and greatest flexibility. Car rentals are available at both airports. The drive time to the Healdsburg area is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours depending on traffic, but it's a really beautiful drive! Plus, you could enhance your visit with some time in The City, where Stacey and Ryan first fell in love : )
Flight
The best little airport! With only a 12 minute drive from Healdsburg (8 minutes to Windsor), flying into Sonoma County Airport (Santa Rosa) is a great way to arrive directly to Wine Country. Alaska Airlines and United typically have a few daily flights in and out of the airport. Car rentals are available at the airport, but cabs and ride-shares (Uber and Lyft) are also options to get to your local destinations.
Travel Note
If you are planning on staying in the Healdsburg area with a big group, we've found that VBRO has the most listings in the area! The early bird gets the worm, so we recommend booking ASAP if you would like a home rental. www.vrbo.com www.airbnb.com
