We recommend to book ASAP. We have some rates locked, but those are on a first come first serve basis. We need everyone booked by December 10th at the latest. It is not uncommon for the cruise to sell out months in advance. Julia will watch for price adjustments, so if rates drop we'll be able to reprice.

You are more than welcome to bring your kids on the cruise. Our date even allows for kids 12 and under to sail nearly FREE! You'd just have to pay taxes, fees, and port expenses.

Question

Can anyone not on the invite come on the cruise?

Answer

Sure! If you'd like to have other friends join the cruise they are more than welcome to. Reach out to Julia and she can help with the arrangements. We just ask anyone not on the invite to please find a spot on the ship to hangout during the ceremony/reception as we are aiming to keep a certain headcount.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be semi-formal or cocktail attire. For the rest of the cruise it's your vacation, so whatever you're comfortable in!

Question

How long is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony should be no longer than 20 minutes. The reception will be roughly 2 hours.

Question

How do we get to the cruise terminal?

Answer

The address is 1850 Eller Drive Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316. If you are coming from Florida and driving, you can park at the cruise terminal for $20 per day. You'll follow signs to the ships pier terminal. After dropping off your checked luggage at the terminal with the porters and cruise line representative, proceed to the appropriate parking garage for that terminal. If you are flying, we recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Julia will be setting up and helping with hotel bookings near the port for night one. You can take the shuttle from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the hotel. From the hotel, we recommend an uber to the cruise port.

Question

Is the ceremony legal?

Answer

We are having a symbolic ceremony onboard. We will already be legally married prior to the cruise- so no paperwork or requirements for guests.

Question

How do I stay up to date on travel information/happenings?

Answer

We will create a Facebook group when we have a better idea of who is attending. You're also welcome to reach out to the Bride or Groom if you are not on Facebook.

Question

How do I add the drink package, book excursions, add internet, etc.?

Answer

After your deposit is submitted, you can add the drink package, internet, shore excursions, upgraded dining, etc. through the Royal Caribbean app.
