Many know that we've met during the peak of the pandemic, July 2020, thanks to Hinge. What they sometimes forget is that we matched when Kevin found a loophole in Stacey's "Never Have I Ever...tried grilled cheese until last year" responding, "is it really never have I ever if you've done it?". This banter became the foundation for our relationship, with our primary love language being sass and our second being Kevin's cooking (buffalo chicken dip specifically). We were living in different cities at the time - Stacey in Manhattan and Kevin in South Jersey. We agreed to meet when Kevin was back in Hoboken. We met on July 22, 2020 in Times Square during a torrential downpour when outdoor dining requirements forced us to stand under an awning for four hours. If you could believe it, Kevin accurately called that it was going to rain and Stacey stubbornly said, "it will be fine!" A year and a half later, Kevin got Stacey to move to Hoboken. While Stacey still can't believe she's a Jersey girl, moving in together was the start of a lot more than just a different address. Together, we've brought out the silliest sides of each other, and still have butterflies that never went away. We complement each other in the best ways and have fallen more in love each day. We are so lucky to be surrounded by incredible family and friends who have made integrating our lives so easy.
