Fall officially begins September 22, so it’s safe to say you’ll need a warm layer for the evening. We’ve heard late September radiates the “perfect weather,” but we obviously don’t have control over it. According to Google, highs will be in the upper 60s and lows will be in the 40s.
Estes Park is about an hour-and-a-half from Denver International Airport. Unfortunately, there is no direct connection from Denver Airport to Estes Park, so renting a car is your best option. We highly recommend renting a car through Turo with a “free delivery” status. Turo is proving to be astronomically more affordable than typical car rental companies. A secondary option is to take a bus to Ft. Collins/Loveland Airport then take an Uber to Estes Park. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Downtown Boulder Station then take an Uber to Estes Park.
