In 2016, both Dan and Stacey packed their bags and moved across the country to pursue their life ambitions in Greenville, SC. Stacey was moving from Oklahoma to pursue her MBA, and Dan was moving from Chicago for his first job. Unbeknownst to each of them, they were also moving to find the love of their lives. As fate would have it, Stacey and Dan moved right across from each other, within the same apartment complex. They connected through a mutual friend and Clemson classmate and eventually they were hiking through the mountains, partaking in unlimited mimosas during Sunday brunch, and traveling the country together.

This past July, a Kremer family weekend at the lake turned out to be much more. The whole family was already at the lake and waiting for a big surprise. When Stacey and Dan arrived at the lake, everyone was hanging outside and Stacey’s sister appeared out of nowhere as they came out of the house to surprise her. While Stacey was in utter shock of seeing her sisters, Dan went down on one knee and she said YESSS!
