FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please join us in dressing for the occasion in cocktail attire—stylish and sophisticated, but comfortable enough to enjoy the celebration! Think sharp suits and chic dresses, perfect for an evening of fun and dancing. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. Aloysius has a parking lot that can be accessed by Whipple Street. For the Royce Event Venue, there will be complimentary valet parking available leading up to the reception. There is also metered street parking and parking garages available surrounding the event space. Please note, vehicles may remain overnight and do not need to be picked up at the end of the evening. However, please be sure to retrieve your keys from the valet before leaving the venue.

Question

Is the ceremony a full Catholic Mass?

Answer

No, this will be a Catholic wedding ceremony rather than a full Mass. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes, and Communion will not be part of the service.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, we’re excited to celebrate with your guest as well. Please be sure to RSVP for both you and your plus one so we can plan accordingly. If you did not receive a plus-one on your invitation, we kindly ask that you attend solo, as we have limited space. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only children in attendance will be those who are part of our wedding party.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, we encourage you to explore Cincinnati before joining us downtown for the reception! Grab a drink at Jim & Jack's on your way, or visit nearby favorites like Cobblestone OTR, Queen City Radio, or Knockback Nat's. Washington Park is also just a short walk away and is a great place to relax before the celebration continues. Addresses for these locations can be found on the 'Things to Do' tab.

Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, July 31st. If we do not hear from you we will miss you and assume you can't make it!
